Jake serves as the Director, Business Development, working closely with institutional clients and prospects and investment management teams. Prior to joining Miles Capital, Jake served as Managing Director, Investments, for Edge Asset Management, an affiliate of Principal Global Investors. At Edge Jake oversaw client portfolios and was a member of Edge's leadership team, working on investment strategy and product development. Jake joined Principal Global Investors in 1998 as a portfolio strategist. He began his career as an auditor and subsequently became a credit analyst. Jake has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Courtney Clarke is Manager, Marketing and Communications for Miles Capital. She is responsible for the marketing and client communication initiatives of the firm. Prior to that, she served as Manager of the Client Service Team for Miles Capital. She earned her BS in Business Management, International Business and a BA in French from Iowa State University. Prior to joining Miles Capital, Courtney was in Investment Operations with Cargill Financial Markets, UK.

Steve Davis is Public Funds Marketer for Miles Capital. He is responsible for attracting and maintaining relationships with both the Boards of Directors and participants of the Local Government Investment Pools we manage or service, which includes direct interaction, convention participation and regular market or program communications. Steve is also responsible for all bank relationship and fixed term investment initiatives for our public fund bank network. He joined the Miles Capital team in 2010 after spending 9 years at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines. Steve holds multiple securities licenses and industry designations, and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
